Our Graduate Pathway programs allow you to begin earning credits toward your degree even if you do not meet the direct entry requirements. The program will help build the academic foundation, essential English language skills that you need to successfully move on to your master’s degree. You’ll receive the highest level of support with dedicated academic advisors throughout your program. If you meet the progression requirements, admissions exams like GRE and GMAT will be waived. Your Pathway program length is determined by your English language scores. You would be able to graduate in two years by studying full time for one or two summer semesters.
Civil engineers are involved in the planning, design, and construction of buildings, bridges, roads, and the evaluation of their operational performance. The Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering (CCEE) department offers a distinguished program of graduate study and cutting-edge research covering various facets of Civil Engineering theory and practice.
A knowledgeable and experienced group of faculty members work closely with students to provide them with the tools required to succeed professionally in globally-competitive work environments.
The Civil Engineering Department strongly encourages students to participate in experiential learning opportunities, such as industry co-ops, engineering internships, and research with department faculty. These programs greatly enhance a student's education and provide the real-world experience employers look for after graduation.

For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:
- Min TOEFL iBT: 65
- Min IELTS overall: 5.5
- Min Duolingo English Test Score: 95
- Min PTE overall: 44
