This course offers students flexible learning enabling them to simultaneously maintain a professional role in clinical practice or manage other commitments whilst completing their studies. It’s interdisciplinary in nature and delivered by experienced specialist academics in partnership with national and international leaders and clinical specialists from cardiology, nursing, nutrition, exercise and behavioural medicine.

Students complete a series of clinical observations across key areas of cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation. This will give them a thorough understanding of the theory behind the practice. Students also learn first-hand the practicalities of current service delivery. The research element of the course will provide them with a strong foundation in the practical use of research methods within cardiovascular health and students learn how to use research evidence in order to implement best practice within their healthcare setting.

Admission Requirements

  • Minimum Level of Education Required: 4-Year Bachelor's Degree
  • Min GPA: 70.0% 
  • English Proficiency Requirements:
    For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 100 (Min Listening: 20.0, Min Reading: 20.0, Min Speaking: 20.0, Min Writing: 20.0)
    • Min IELTS overall: 7 (Min Listening: 6.5, Min Reading: 6.5, Min Speaking: 6.5, Min Writing: 6.5)
    • Min PTE overall: 64 (Min Listening: 58, Min Reading: 58, Min Speaking: 58, Min Writing: 58)
    Applicants interested in applying for direct admission, but are yet to complete an acceptable language test, can do so, but must provide valid results before receiving a final offer letter.
    For conditional admission, you are required to provide English proficiency scores:
    • Min IELTS overall: 4 (Min Listening: 4, Min Reading: 4, Min Speaking: 4, Min Writing: 4)
    • Min Duolingo English Test Score: 60
